398 Charles County Court Proceedings, 1671—16 74. Liber E rard Brown his heyres and ass ignes, tht he the said Thomas Allanson his heyres Executrs and Adminrs the said parcell of Land and all other the bargained prmisses unto him the said Gerrard Browne his heyres and assignes And agt all psons wtsoever Shall and will warrt and forever defend by these prsents the rents and Services hereafter to becom due & payable to the Lord Propryetary for the Same aliwayes excepted and foreprized, and farther that the said Thomas Allanson his heyres and assignes Shall and will from tyme to tyme & at all tymes heareafter dureing the space of seven yeares at the reasonable request and at the proper cost & charge of him the sd Gerrard Browne in the law, his heyres and assignes make dpe execute and Suffer to be made done executed and Suifred all and every Such farther act or acts thing or things assureance or assureances, wtsoever requested in the prmisses & for the better assureing and more Sure makeing of the said bargained prmisses unto him the Gerrard Browne his heyres and Assignes forever be it by enrollmt of these prsents, fyne or feofeemt or other waie or by any other Such wayes or meanes as by him the said Gerrard Browne his heyres or Assignes or his or theyre Councell learned in the Law Shall be reasonably devised advised or required in Witness whereof the partyes above menconed have sett theyre handes and Seales the day and yeare first above written, Thomas Allanson Testibus Rich Boughton (locus Edward Roberts sigill) Memorand: That full and peaceable possession in livery and Seizen of the lands and Tenemts wthin menconed Wth the appurtenances was given and delivered by the wthin menconed Tho: Allanson to the wthin named Gerrard Browne according to the form of the wthin written deed, this eight day of August 1672 Tho: Allanson Witness Rich Boughton Edward Roberts Keiham Magloughlin prferrs this ensueing Peticon to the Wor- shpfull the Comishoners, for 90 hundred twenty and Seven pounds of tobacco due to him by George Mannweareing of this County deceased humbly Sheweth; That Allexander Sennet Overseer unto Mr Geo: Manering of this County (lately deceased) bought of the James Lyndsy for the use of the said Mannwereing three hundred nine pounds of beefe and poarke or the receipt under the said Sennetts hand dated the last day of decembr 1670 will sufficiently testefye for the wch the sd Manwereing was to pay to the said Lyndsy three pounds of tob for every pound of meate wch amounted to nyne hun- dred twenty and Seven pounds of tobacco For wch your Peticoner as Administrator to the said James Lynd- sey humbly prayes tht he may have order granted him agt the Exectrs |
