Charles County Court Proceedings, 16 71—1674. 319 by the Said James Smallwood his heires Exrs & Admrs or any of Liber E them or of or by any other person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming by from or under them or any of them or to their or any of their uses or by their or any of their titles Estates meanes or procurement & the Said James Smallwood for himselfe his heires Execrs & Admrs all & Singular the before bargained premises with their Appurtenances & Every part & parcell thereof unto the Said william Jenkins his heires Executors & Administratrs And Assignes to the intent & meaning aforesaid Shall & will warrant & for Ever Defend by these pnts the rents & services which from henceforth from time to time Shall grow due (for & in respect of the afore- menconed premises hereby Sold) payable to the Lord or Lords of the fee or Fees thereof for & in respect of his or their Seignory or Seignorys Only Excepted & foreprized In wittnes whereof the parties first above named to these pnt Indentures have Interchange- ably Sett their hands & Seales the day & yeare first abovewrittenSigned Sealed & dellivered his together with possession James X Smallwood (locus by livery & Seizin by Turfe marke sigilli) & Twigge in prsence of us Henry Hawkins John Owen Thomas X Hargas his marke John Boyden came & acknowledged this Ensueing Conveyance of land to william Boyden & Mathew Sanders. This Indenture made the 14th day of march Ao Dni: 1670, Be- tween John Boyden of Charles County in the province of Maryland planter of the one part & william Boyden & Mathew Sanders of the County aforesaid planters of the other part witnesseth that the Said John Boyden for and in Consideracon for and in Considera- con of the Sume of 3000 lb of Tobaccoe by bill past before the En- sealing & dellivery of these pnts by the Said William Boyden & Mathew Sanders the Receit thereof the Said John Boyden doth hereby acknowledge and himselfe to be therewith fully Satisfyed & Contented & therefrom doth acquitt & discharge the Said william boyden & Mathew Sanders their heires Executors & Administrators hath Bargained Sold aliened Enfeoffed & Sett over and by these pnts doth fully freely & absolutely Bargain Sell, Alien Enfeoffe & Sett over unto the Said william Boyden & Mathew Sanders their heires Execrs Admrs & Assignes for Ever all that parcell of land called by the name of St Margaretts Lying in Charles County afore- said Beginning at a bounded peckickory Standing on the Southwest Side of a branch running up St Thomas Creeke Standing neere the land of Thomas wentworth running west fifty perches to the bound |
