Charles County Court Proceedings, 1668—1670. 211 John Wheeler acknowledgeth this fowlowing Conveyance to Wm Liber D Dickeson This Indenture made the 30 of March 1668 betweene John Wheeler of Charles County in the Province of Maryland Planter on the one pte and Wm Dickson of the same County planter on the other pte Witnesseth tht the sd John Wheeler as well for & in Consideracon of the quantity of 2100 lb of Tobacco in hand pd before the ensealing hereof by the sd Wm Dickson whereof & wherewth the sd Wheeler doth acknowledg himself satisfied Contented & pd & thereof & of every pte & parcell thereof doth acquitt & Discharge the sd Dickson his heirs Exectrs & Admistrs & every of thm by these prsents as also for diverse other good Causes & consideracons him hereunto move- ing Have granted bargained sold assigned sett over and Confirmed & by these prsents doe fully clearely & absolutely grant bargaine sell assigne & sett over & Confirme unto the sd Dickson his heirs Extrs Admistrs & Assg tht pcell of lying & being in Charles County in the woods begining at a bound red Oake standing on the south side of a branch joyning upon the land formerly surveyed by Mr Geo: Thompson Called the planters delight runing South & by East for breadth 80 perchs to a bounded white Oake runing west & by south for lenght 160 perchs to a bounded white Oake ruing north & by west 20 perches to a Hickary standing upon the sd run runing along the sd run untill it meet wth the first bound tree qt by estimation 65 Acres be the sam more or less now in the tenure or occupation of the sd Wheeler or his Assgs As by Patten Granted unto the sd Wheeler [p. 102] for the same bearing date the 2 of 1668 will appeare Called Stoke hill all & singular wch sd Land together all & singular the houses building structures or Edifices wtsoever there unto belonging or Appertaining together all the Orchards Gardens pastures feedings Comons Comons of pastur Range for hogs woods Underwoods water water Courses fishings fowlings ways easemts Proffitts Comodities & hereditamts wssoever unto the sd pcell of Land blonging or any way appertaining To have & to hold the sd pcell of land & all & singulall the prmises aforementioned to be hereby bargained & sold wth the Appertenances & every pte & pcell thereof wtsoever before named or recited unto the sd Dickson his heirs Extrs Admistrs & Assg for ever yeelding & paying yearely the Ld Proprietarys rent for the sd pcell of Land in manner & forme as is in the patten aforesd exprest & the sd Wheeler for himself his heirs Extrs & Admistrs doe Covent grant & agree to & the sd Dickson his heirs Extrs Admistrs & Assg & every of thm by these prsents tht he the sd Dickson his heirs Extrs Admistrs & Assg shall & may lawfully Peacably & quietly have hold occupy possess & enjoy all & singular the prmises before by these prsents bargaind & Sold & every pte & pcell throf wth every the rights members & Appertenances wthout the law full let sute trouble Evicon Expulcon Interrupon or demand of or by the sd Wheeler or of |
