This House met according to Adjournment

Present as Yesterday
Read & assented to the engrossed Bill, entitled a Supplementary
Act to the Act entitled an Act for the Limitation of certain Actions
for avoiding Suits at Law.
Read the second Time a Bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act
entitled an Act for the Encouragement of such Persons as will under-
take to build Water-Mills & will pass so endorsed
Read the second Time a Bill entitled an Act to prevent the Mis-
chiefs arising from the Multiplicity of useless Dogs, & for other
Purposes therein mentioned & will pass with the Amendments an-
nexed Viz.t
(1.st) Leave out the Preamble
(2.d) In the 8th Line of the first Page after the word "Plantation"
add the following Words Viz.t "or by Him or Her permitted or
suffered to be kept thereon by any Servant or Servants, Slave or
Slaves."
(3.d) In the Ninth Line of the first Page after the word "kept" add
the following Words Vizt "or permitted or suffered to be kept as
aforesaid."
