Act to the Act entitled an Act for the Limitation of certain Actions
for avoiding Suits at Law.
Read the second Time a Bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act
entitled an Act for the Encouragement of such Persons as will under-
take to build Water-Mills & will pass so endorsed
Read the second Time a Bill entitled an Act to prevent the Mis-
chiefs arising from the Multiplicity of useless Dogs, & for other
Purposes therein mentioned & will pass with the Amendments an-
nexed Viz.^t
(1.^st) Leave out the Preamble
(2.^d) In the 8th Line of the first Page after the word "Plantation"
add the following Words Viz.^t "or by Him or Her permitted or
suffered to be kept thereon by any Servant or Servants, Slave or
Slaves."
(3.^d) In the Ninth Line of the first Page after the word "kept" add
the following Words Viz^t "or permitted or suffered to be kept as
aforesaid."
