Col.o Cockey Deye brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker a Bill
Entituled An Act for the further Enlargement of Baltimore Town
in Baltimore County
Which was read the first Time and Ordered to lye on the Table
Mr Fielder Gantt brings in and delivers to Mr Speaker a Bill
Entituled An Act to prevent Lands and Stock appropriated to the
Use of Iron Works being divided into Dower and Thirds and to
enable Women under Age to preclude themselves from Dower and
Thirds by Agreement before Marriage with their intended Husbands
Which was read the first Time and Ordered to lye on the Table
The House adjourns 'till Monday Morning at 9 of the Clock

The Bill Entituled An Act for the speedy payment of sundry
persons several Sums of Money allowed to them on Account of the
Late War with the List therein referred to (which was read and
Assented to by this House) were Sent to the Upper House by Mr
Worthington and Mr E. Gantt
Daniel Dulany Esq.r from the Upper House delivers to Mr Speaker
the Bill Entituled An Act to prevent the Navigation on Potowmack
River Monokasy and Great Conococheague Creeks being Obstructed
Indorsed By the Upper House of Assembly Nov. 23.d 1765 Read
the Second Time and will pass with the following Amendment
Leave out after the Word "Act" in the 21.st Line of the 1.st Page
the following Words Viz And may from and after the 1.st Day of
October next so pull down Prostrate and destroy any Dam already
in Being in either of the said Creeks to which a Sufficient Lock as
aforesaid shall not then be fixed and built and insert in the place
thereof the follg Words Viz And also may after the End of this
present Session of Assembly pull down abate Prostrate and destroy
