Charles County Court Proceedings, 1658-1662. 33 Marie Dode Aged 21 years or thearabouts Sworne and Examined LiberA in open Court Swareth that Mr Arthur Turner came to desier her to nurs his child and this deponant answered Shee coold not for Shee thaught she was with child her self but if hee woold haue it drie nurst she woold doe her best endeauor for it whear upon the Sayd Turner answered that if this deponant coold bring it up by hand Lucie Stratton Shoold and further Sayeth not.
