That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Adam Jameson thirty pounds
of the Same Emission for Clothing on Account
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Jonathan Morris twenty one
pounds ten Shillings of the Same Emission for Stores to 1 Inst
on Acct
That the said Treasurer pay to Jub Fowler Forty nine pounds,
eleven Shillings and four pence Specie Balance of his last Years
Salary per Account adjusted. —
A Letter of the 4th instant from Michael Boyer respecting Fire
wood for the Prisoners — and public Horses, being read : Ordered
that it be referred to the Intendant.
Commissions issued to Thomas Stinchicomb appointed Capt in
the room of Joshua Hurd, Job Lewis first Lieut, Charles Lewis sec-
ond Lieut Otho White Ensign — Charles Chinworth Capt in the room
of Benjamin Tevis Arthur Chinworth first Lieut, Robert Majors
second Lieut, Richard Choate Ensign — William Kelly Capt in the
room of Elie Dorsey, William Chinworth first Lieut, Joshua Kelly
second Lieut & Richard Plowman Ensign belonging to the Soldiers
Delight Battalion of Militia in Baltimore County. —

[Council to John Johnson Esqr]

We have appointed you Commissioner to settle and adjust the
Accounts of the Officers and Soldiers of this State in the Service of
the United States. It is necessary that you proceed immediately to
the Southern Camp, to settle with the Officers and Soldiers there.
You will call on Mr Wilkins for all the public Books and Papers,
relating to the Office of Commissioner, which we have requested him
to deliver.

Friday 8th February 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay toElijah Merryman
ten pounds eleven shillings of the Bills emitted under the Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit &ca to be delivered over to Micajah
Merryman per Accounts passed. —
That the said Treasurer pay to Dulany Ridout and Jenifer Trus-
tees for Mrs Lowndes forty nine pounds, three shillings and seven
pence specie agreeable to the Act to adjust the Debts due from this
State per Certificates adjusted the 6th Instant
That the said Treasurer pay to Daniel of St Thomas Jenifer
Esquire two hundred and eighty one pounds, twelve shillings and
eleven pence and also Eight hundred and Sixty one pounds, seventeen
shillings and five pence Specie agreeable to the Act aforesaid per
Certs adjusted 6 Inst.
