That the said Treasurer pay to Capt Walker Muse thirty Pounds
of the same Emission in lieu of a Suit of Cloaths and four shirts for
the present year and also twenty nine Pounds, fourteen shillings of
the same Bills for Stores to the 1st Instant and Rations to 31st March
last on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo Edward Gaither eleven
Pounds, sixteen shillings and eight Pence of the same Emission, seven
pounds sixteen shillings and eight Pence thereof to be by him retained
and four Pounds to be delivered over to Stephen West per Accounts
passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Major Bayley nineteen Pounds,
seven shillings of the same Emission for the use of Lieut Roger
Nelson in lieu of Stores to the 1st Instant on Account.
That the said Treasurer pay to Samuel Dare twenty five Pounds,
one shilling and nine pence and James M. Sollars seventy one
Pounds, seventeen shillings Specie agreeable to the Act to adjust the
Debts due from this State per Certificates adjusted & passed.
That Henry Dickinson Esqr Treasurer of the Eastern shore pay
to the Western shore Treasurer, one thousand seven hundred and
fifty three Pounds, thirteen shillings and nine pence old Continental
Currency, seven thousand one hundred and twenty seven pounds, two
shillings of the Bills of Credit of the Emission of June 1780, and
also fifteen thousand four hundred and thirty six pounds, thirteen
shillings six pence of the Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission
of Bills of Credit &ca — two hundred and thirteen thousand, eight
hundred and twenty one Pounds of Crop and fifteen thousand two
hundred and nineteen pounds of Transfer Tobacco.

Wednesday 15th May 1782

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Major Montjoy
Bayley one hundred and twenty five Pounds of the Bills emitted
under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit &ca to be by him
accounted for.
That the said Treasurer pay to David McMachen eighty seven
Pounds, ten shillings and three Pence of the same Emission, twenty
one Pounds fourteen shillings & seven pence thereof to be by him
retained for a Certificate issued agreeable to the Act to adjust the
Debts due from this State and the residue to be delivered over to
Henry Newcomer due him on two Horse Certificates adjusted and
Passed.

Permission is hereby granted to John Goff of Frederick County
in the State of Maryland to apply to his Excellency General Washing-
ton or the Officer Commanding at the Out Posts of the American
Army, for Licence to go into the City of New York for the Purpose
of obtaining Passage from thence to Ireland.
