Sunday 29th July 1781

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Mark Alexander
Junr Three hundred and forty Dollars of the Bills emitted under the
Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding two hundred
thousand pounds &ca of the money appropriated for the present
Campaign to be delivered over to Philip Welsh, Ludwick Lawman,
James McCarty, Isaac Lewis, William Marr, Micht McKnight, John
Gottherd, Timothy Burn, Clement Richards, Samuel Malidge, John
Gill, Michl Henesy, Valentine Lynn, Thomas Kelly, Daniel Murphy,
Thomas Grant and William Welsh Recruits from Baltimore County
each, twenty Dollars the Bounty allowed by the " Act to raise two
Battalions of Militia &ca " and also the further sum of sixty eight
Dollars for recruiting them.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Robert Denny Two thousand
two hundred and fifty pounds of the same Emission of the money
appropriated as aforesaid to be by him applied to the enlisting the
men engaged to serve until the 10th day of Decemr next or others
for three years or during the war on Account.

Monday 30th July 1781

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to John Brice
Esquire seven pounds, eleven shillings and four pence of the Bills
emitted under the " Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit not
exceeding two hundred thousand pounds &ca of the money appro-
priated for the present Campaign due him per Account passed by
the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut. Roger Nelson of the 5th
Regimt Thirty pounds of the same Emission of the money appro-
priated as aforesaid on Account and also the further Sum of five
pounds five shillings of the same Emission due him for Stores per
Acct passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Isaac Hanson of the Ist
Regimt Thirty pounds of the same Emission of the money appro-
priated as aforesaid on Account and also the further sum of Eleven
pounds, five Shillings of the same Emission due him for Stores per
Account passed by the Depy Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Alexander Trueman one
pound, ten shillings of the same Emission of the money appropriated
as aforesaid due him for stores per Account passed by the Depy Aud.
Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Robertson
Stevens Thirty one pounds, seven shillings and eleven pence of the
Bills emitted under the Act for the Emission of Bills of Credit not
