the Artillery two shirts and also to Capt. John Jordan of the 2d
Regiment due for the present year.
That James Calhoun deliver to Mr Westeneys ten barrels of
seconds or such flour as will not bear inspection to be delivered
to Step. Steward on Acct of the Gaily building for the State
That the Issuing Commyly deliver to Joseph Middleton twenty
four pounds of sugar for the use of Capt. Wm Middleton on Account.

The General Assembly at their late Sitting having directed the
Specie procured by the Flour consigned you to be transmitted for the

recruiting Service. We request you to transmit it immediately in
one or more bottoms to the Delaware which is the safest Port at this
Time; should you have authentic Information of the Enemy being
out of the Bay and an immediate Conveyance, we would have you
send it to this place, but we would not have you delay it on that
Account

and provide for the recruits furnished by your County you will be
pleased therefore as soon as they are approved of to have them
delivered to him.

Saturday 2ist July 1781

Ordered That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Lieut James
John Skinner of the 1st Regimt and Levin Denwood surgeon of the
3d Regimt each, Linen for two shirts and also to Major John Eccles-
ton one suit of Cloaths and four shirts due for the present year.
That the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut John Boone of the
3d Regimt four pounds of the Bills emitted under the Act for the
Emission of Bills of Credit not exceeding two hundred thousand
pounds &ca of the money appropriated for the Officers going to the
Southward.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capts Llyod Beall & Edward
Spurrier Lieuts James Arthur & William Murdock and Doctr Levin
Denwood each, Twenty pounds of the same Emission of the money
appropriated as aforesaid.
