Wre are informed that you have proposed to take into your Care,
some of the poor Horses belonging to the State. If you incline to dc
so, we request you will attend that we may agree on the Terms.

We enclose you a Copy of a letter from Col. Dashiel by which
you will observe that James Welsh and William Isaac who are now
in Baltimore are suspected of illicit Practices; we request you to have
them immediately apprehended with their Papers and carefully
examined and if there should appear to you any good Grounds for

Information thereof. The Information contained in the Letter is to
be private.

Monday 26th February 1781.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Alice Redman
one pound seventeen shillings and six pence of the new Emission in
lieu of Seventy five pounds due her per Account passed by the
D. Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Lieut Ignatius Boone of the Extra
Regiment, three hundred and eighty two pounds, five shillings and
two pence half penny of the same Emission in lieu of fifteen thousand,
three hundred and ten pounds, eight shillings and four pence due him
per Acct passed by the Aud. Genl
That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Denny four pounds sixteen
shillings and two pence of the same Emission in lieu of one hundred
and ninety two pounds seven shillings and six pence due him per
Acct passed by the D. Aud.
That the said Treasurer pay to Capts David Lynn & Lloyd Beall
of the 7th Regimt each, four pounds, sixteen shillings and two pence
of the same Emission due them per Accounts passed.
That the said Treasurer pay to Francis Brooke fifteen pounds six-
teen shillings and six pence of the same Emission due him per Acct
passed.

That the Issuing Commissary deliver to Lieut. Robert Denny,
Capt. Lloyd Beall & Capt. David Lynn of the 7th Regimt each, six
Gallons of Rum and twenty four pounds of sugar due them to the
1st March next.
That John Bullen Esqr Quarter Master to Zachariah Duvall,
twelve public Horses to be by him taken care of.
That the Armourer deliver to Thomas Rutland an Anchor belong-
ing to the State to be returned.
The Governor and Council agree with John Dorsey and Company
to transport the flour saved from the Nautilus to Baltimore Town,
