Johns Commander of the Schooner Little Davy seventy Tons bur-
then, navigated by ten men, mounting four Swivel Guns, belonging ,
to William Taylor & Compy of Baltimore.

[Council to John Bullen, Esqr.]

You will be so obliging as to deliver to Mr Henry Schenebely
twelve of the Horses that are unfit for Present Service with Forage
for them. He having agreed with this Board to take Charge of
them for the winter. You will take his receipt for them.

Wednesday 10th January 1781

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Lieut William
Murdock of the 6th Regiment Ten pounds eight shillings and ten :
pence half penny of the new Emission in lieu of four hundred and
seventeen pounds, fifteen shillings due him per Account passed by
the Aud. Genl
That the Issuing Commissary deliver to the said Lieut William
Murdock fifteen and a half Gallons of Rum and forty eight pounds
of sugar due him for the year 1780.
An order of the 8th September last on Capt. Samuel Godman in
favor of James Calhoun Esqr for six thousand, one hundred and
twenty one Pounds two shillings and nine pence and another of the
same date on Joshua Cockey one of the Collectors for Baltimore
County in favor of the said James Calhoun for ten thousand pounds
are returned unpaid.

man, one hundred and sixty one pounds, six shillings of the new
Emission in lieu of six thousand four hundred and fifty two pounds
due him per account passed by the Aud Genl
That the Commissary of Stores deliver to Joseph Fearson of the
first Regimt one pair of shoes and one pair of Stockings.

[Council to Mr. Thomas Richardson]

We send you by this opportunity Bushels of Salt, and if a
further Quantity is necessary we will send it on Notice, unless you
can purchase it in your Neighbourhood on reasonable Terms, per-
haps it may be proper to procure a small Quantity of Allum Salt
at any rate to mix with what we send, tho the quallity of it is very
good being about four years old. We are sorry to find you have not
a Prospect of sending to Mr Murdoch more than 15 or 20 Head of
Cattle on the Hoof. We have been informed that some might be
procured in the upper Parts of Montgomery County in the Neigh-
