Mr Key And Mr John Gresham were sent to acquaint the Gover-
nor this House hath prepared an Address to him and desires to know
when and where he will please to receive it.
They return and Acquaint Mr Speaker the Governor signified
that he would be ready to receive the Address immediately at his
House
Mr Key and Mr John Gresham were ordered to present the Ad-
dress to the Governor.
Colo Hammond from the Upper House delivers to Mr Speaker
the following Message (See page 680)
Daniel Dulany Esqr from the Upper House delivers to Mr Speaker

Was sent by Major Barnes and Capt. Handy George Plater Esqr
from the Upper House acquaints Mr Speaker the Governor requires
the Attendance of the Lower House immediately in the Upper House
Mr Speaker left the Chair and with the Members of the Lower
House attended the Governor in the Upper House where his Excel-
lency made the following Speech (See page 682)
So endeth this Convention in Assembly this Twenty third Day
of December in the Thirty third year of his Lordships Dominion,
Anno Dom. 1747 Test. M Macnemara Cl lo. ho.
