422 Assembly Proceedings, May 1-June 12, 1739.

lays before you requires the Immediate Attendance of Mr Speaker
and the whole House in the Upper House and Mr Jenings further
said that to prevent mistakes they were ordered to deliver Mr Speaker
a paper containing the Words aforesaid which was delivered accord-
ingly and thereupon Mr Speaker and the whole House go to the
Upper House and afterwards Return to the Lower House, where Mr
Speaker Reassumed the Chair and reported to this House that his
Excellency the Governor in his Speech (of which he did not deliver
Mr Speaker a Copy) was pleased with the Advice of his Lordships
Council of State to prorogue this present General Assembly until
the first Tuesday in September next and thereupon this House stands
accordingly Prorogued to that Time
So Endeth this Convention in Assembly this twelfth day of June
in the Twenty fifth year of the Dominion of the right Honourable
Charles Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Provinces of Mary-
land and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltimore and in the year of Our
Lord God One Thousand Seven hundred and Thirty Nine
