My Duty was the only Motive that prompted me to act in my
Station, in a maner I have the Pleasure to find has been So
Acceptable to You, But however I may be wanting in my
Capacity to Serve You, Yet Sure I am you will not fail of my
best Endeavours and Warmest Wishes for the Prosperity of
Maryland.

And then his Excy was pleased to declare that with the
Advice of the right honble the Lord Proprys Councill of State
within this Province he thought fit to Prorogue this present
Generall Assembly till the Seventh day of October next to
which time the Same was accordingly Prorogued.
Afterwards Mr Speaker with the rest of the members of
this House return'd to their own House And then Mr Speaker
resumed the Chair and reported to the House that his Excy the
Governour with the Advice of the right honble the Lord
propry's Councill of State in this Province had prorogued this
present Genl [Assembly] to the Seventh day of October next

to which Time this House Accordingly prorogues itself.

So Endeth this third Sessions of Assembly held for this
Province after his most gracious Majesty was pleased to
restore the right honble the Lord Propry to the Government of
this Province this tenth day of May Anno Dmi 1718.
