Post Meridiem. The house meet according to Adjourn-
ment

The Petition of George Scot on behalf e of His Son Day Scot
being ref err'd from last Sessions was read & it appearing that
Wm Round and Mary his Wife the persons Concerned have
had Sufft notice of the peticon and for that the Allegacons in
the Peticon are found to be true Leave is given to bring in a
Bill as prayed saving to Abraham Turner his Equitable right
to the Land therein menconed in Case he Comes in and makes
the Same appear in Two years hence.
Coll: Tilghman from the upper house delivers Mr Speaker
the foll0 Message Viz:

By his Excy the Governour Aprill 25th 1718.

Gent. You have herewith sent You the opinion of three
Lawyers in great Brittain relating to the Act for suspending
the prosecution of Popish Priests which is promised in my
Speech to be laid before you for your Consideracon.

And delivered Mr Speaker the Opinions of the Lawyers
therein menconed wch were read and the Consideracon thereof
is referr'd till to morrow morning
On reading the peticon of Petr Marsey and Sarah his Wife
praying Leave to bring in a Bill to repeal an Act made to
Robert Roberts referred from last Sessions. The Same is
rejected
Colo Ennalls from the Upper House delivers Mr Speaker
three Indictments found agl Mr Thomas Macnemara in the
Provll Court wth a Transcript from the Chancery Court re-
lating to his suspension with the following Message viz:

By his Excy the Governour
Aprill 25th 1718.

Gent. I herewith send you Copies of Severall Passages
that hapned in the Chancery Court relating to Mr Macnemara
wth Copies of three Indictments found ag' the said Macnemara
which I promised to lay before you for your Consideracon.
