Court house at Mount Calvert being Read, The Question is
put whether the Petition shall be Received or not.
Resolved in the Affirmative And that It be Recomended to
the Lower House, which is Accordingly so Endorsed and
sent to the Lower House by Colo Addison who Returns & Says
he Delivered it.
Col John Mackall & five Others bring from the Lower
House the follo message.

In answer to your Message by Esqr Brooke and three other
Members of Your House We have apptd Coll John Mackall
Mr James Lloyd Mr Wm Turbutt Capt Henry P. Jowles Major
Thos Emerson and Mr Nathanll Dare to Joyn the Members of
your House in a Conference on the Representation of the
Clergy Who are ready to attend And Desire your Honrs will
be pleased to Appoint the Members of Your House that are to
Joyn them and the Time of meeting.

Addison to Joyn the members appointed by your house at Six
of the Clock this Evening in the Library

Sent p the Gent Appointed of this house on the Conference.
Mr John Fendall & Mr John Baker from the lower house
with the follo Engrost bills, viz.
A Bill to Confirm the Last will & Testamt of Elizabeth
Devegh decd &c.
A Bill Reviving an Act of Assembly Entituled an Act for
Relieving the Inhabitants of this Province from some Ag-
grievances in the Prosecution of Suits at Law. Read &
Assented to by that house.
And being Read are Assented to by this House & Philemon
Lloyd Esqr Sent to Acquaint the lower house thereof. The
