His Excellency told the members of his Lordship's Council
& the Delegates that he had been ill used & insulted in his
Sickness & such barbarous Treatment he could not easily
forgett
And prorogued them till the tenth of October next by which
time he said he hoped to hear from England in Answer to his
Letters.
After which he cautioned the Delegates not to come to
Town on the 10th of October next unless they were sent for,
