Session of Assembly consider of some Means to preserve the
Arms and Ammunition &ta

Which being read and approved was sent up to the Council
together with the Bills confirming Major John Hawkins and
Tracey's Bill to confirm a Deed to Mr James Heath by Mr
Worthington, Mr Hill, Mr Whittington and Mr Hicks. They
return and say they delivered the same Message and Bills.
Colo Ennalls and Mr Young from the Council enter the
House and deliver Mr Speaker the following Message, Which
was ordered to be entered upon this Journal Viz.

By the Council in Assembly
October 29th 1711.

In Answer to the House's Message by Mr Scott and two
other Members concerning the appointing an Agent for this
Province had your House thought fit now to have complied
with her Majesty's Pleasure therein we should not have
thought it improper to have named to you some Persons for
that Trust But seeing you refer it to the next Assembly we
must be content then to inforce that her Majesty's Gracious
Recommendation tho' we cannot but think it necessary an
Agent should be now appointed.

The House again took into Debate the Matter relating to
Baltimore County Court House; and Mr Richard Colegate
reporting that Richardson's fforrest at the Head of Middle
River would be a convenient Place for a Court House It's put
to the Question whether it be left to the Vote of the Inhabi-
tants of Baltimore County to appoint the Place where they
would have their Court House or not ? Carryed in the Affirma-
tive. And Resolved Mr James Philips Mr Edward Stephen-
son and Mr William Talbot or any two of them on the first
Tuesday of April next meet at Richardson's Forrest, and Mr
Paca, Mr Dallahide and Mr Richard Colegate or any two of
them at the same Time meet at the new Court House at
Joppa, and the said Persons at those Places at the Time afore-
said to take the Votes of all the Freeholders living in the said
County at what Place they desire their Court House shall be
placed and make Report of their Proceedings to this House
next Session
