paid to him, or that shall ask receive, or demand in any such
Action, by any Colour or Pretext whatsoever, more than the
said Fee, shall forfeit and pay the Sum of Five hundred
Pounds of Tobacco; One Half thereof to our Sovereign Lady
the Queen, for the Support of the Government, the other
Half to him or them that will sue for the same, to be recov-
ered by Action of Debt, Bill, Plaint, or Information, wherein
no Essoign, Protection, or Wager of Law to be allowed; and
upon Conviction thereof to be suspended his Practice in the
said Court, for and during One whole Year.
