    him who was not to be seen but One of the Ships Crew badd      Lib. X.

    the Marshall deliver his Order to him for that Symonds had

    sent him for it & such time as he had Delivered it to that

    person & not before they told him that he alone without any

    Body else might come on Board but after a small time that

    they had been by the Ships Side Captain Bostock badd them

    put of from the Ship & be gone about their Business

   

   

                Thursday April 15th 1703

          The Council Sate Present as Yesterday

   

      Captain James Mitchel Commander of the Ship Owners

    Adventure of London that notwithstanding that Captain

    Bostock had received on Board the two men which he had

    Lent him & that the said Captain Mitchells Ship was but very

    weakly manned he had still detained two of the three men

    he lately impressed from on Board the Ship Owners adven

    ture

      Resolved that the Marshall carry the following Order on

    Board the Ship Eagle Advice Boat

    Maryland ss                                                    p. 322

      By the honble the President & Council You are hereby in

    her Majestys Name directed Commanded & required upon

    sight hereof to deliver unto Mr Mathew Beard Marshall two

    men now on Board her Majestys Advice Boat the one called

    John Magan the other Robert Banks lately impressed from

    On Board the Ship Owners Adventure James Mitchell Mas

    ter contrary to the intent & Direction of this Govt the said

    Ship being at present but weakly manned & Very likely to

    suffer by want of the said two hands fail not Duly to Comply

    with this Order as you will answer the Contrary at your Perill

    Given under our hands & Seals this 15th day of April in the

    second year of her Majestys Reign &Ca Annoq Dni 1703

    Chief for the time being on        Edward Lloyd           X

    Board her Majestys Eagle           Willm Holland          X

    Advice Boat.

   

      Resolved also that this further order be sent on Board her

    Majestys said Advice Boat by the Marshall &Ca
