      A Book of Rates, An Act for preventing frauds &ca A Paper Lib. H. D.

     Book bound in Parchment, A Penknife and a Custom house

     Jack.

                   Ianry the 5th 1697/8.

    

      Major Wm Dent Navall Officer of Potomock district passed

     rect as above for the following things delivered to him. Vizt

     One Book of Rates and one Act of Parliament of his present

     Majtes for preventing frauds and Regulating abuses in the

     Plantation trade. One of each ditto for Charles County

     Court. Twenty five blanck Navigation Bonds for his own

     Office, and twenty Blanck Plantation Bonds, to be delivered

     to Geo: Muschamp Esqr Collector of Potomock district.

    

    

                    Ianry the 5th 1697/8

      Put in the hands of Mr Willm Bladen aforenamed these

     following things Vizt Three Books of Rates & three Printed

     acts of Parliament for preventing frauds &ca One of each sort

     to be by him delivered to the Clerks of St Maryes, Calvert, &

     Prince Georges Countyes to be kept among the other Records

     for the use of the said Countyes.

    

                         Eodem die

      Left in the hands of Henry Denton Clk of his Majtes

     Honoble Councill & Navall Officer of the Port of Annapolis

     the following things Vizt Three Books of Rates & three

     Printed Acts of Parliament as aforesd One of each sort to

     be kept among the Council Records for the use of the Governr

     & Council, One of each Sort for the use of the Provincial

     Court and the other for the use of the said Dentons Naval

     Office, together with 25 blank Navigation Bonds and halfe a

     Reame of fine paper, four Sticks of Sealing wax & a Paper

     of Ink powder to be kept for a Reserve.

      Left also in the hands of the said Henry: Denton Seaven

     Books of Rates and Seaven printed Acts of Parliament for

     preventing frauds &c for the use of Ann Arrundell, Baltimore,

     Ccecil, Kent, Talbot, Dorchester, and Somersett Countyes to

     be lodged among their County Records and to be sent &

     delivered accordingly.

      Left also in the hands of the said Henr Denton nine Books

     of Rates more and nine Printed Acts of Parliament for the p. 173

     use of the Collectors and Naval Officers of Pocomoke, Patux

     ent and Williamstadt, and for the Collector of Pocomoke and

     Navall Officer of Coecill County, as also these following things

     more for the Collectors of Pocomoke, Patuxent, Williamstadt,

     and Potomock, Vizt For each officer one paper Book for
