                 174 Proceedings of the Council of Maryland, 1696/7-98.

         

           Lib. H. D. By his Exncy the Governr June the 22th 1697.

             P. 113 Ordr to Esq It being Represented that Mr Robt Crooke,

          

                ffrisby to insert in the one of the Justices appointed for Coecill County,

                New Comission of the is dead and tht Mr Thomas Thackstone another of

         

                peace for the sd Commission is Removed out of that

                Coecill County County, by which means two persons will be

                two persons in

                the room of wanting to Supply their places. Ordered that in

                Mr Crook & Mr Thack the New Commission to be issued for that County

         

                stone    there be left a blanck for two persons Names to

                         be inserted by the honrble James ifrisby Esq whom

                he shall think fit to Appoint and Judge capable of serving in

                that Station, and that the s' Commission together with this

                Ordr be sent to him, being hereby fully Empower'd to insert

                two names as aforesd

                  Eight Small Locks and hinges proportionable with sixteen

                handles & snick bills for the Boxes to be placed in the Clerk

                of the Councills Office.

                  ffour Small Locks & hinges proportionable with Eight

                handles & snick bills for the boxes to be placed in the Clerks

                Office belonging to the House of Delegates.

                  ffour locks for the Drawers that are to goe under the Court

                House table and that they be of different Sorts.

                  Eight Locks for the Cupboards or Lockers with sixteen pair

                of Dovetail hinges.

                  Two Strong padlocks with pieces of Iron to Cover the holes

                & ffour Strong Dore hinges.

                  ffour locks for the Boxes in the Commissaries Office together

                with two pair of hinges, Eight handles & Snick bills, and one

                Small lock for a desk tht is there.

                  Seaventeen Small locks and key's with large dove taile hinges

                proportionable for the Locker Dores in the State House

                Garrets.
