That the said Treasurer pay to Daniel Munro, sixty Dollars

Bounty due to William Jenings enlisted by him and the further
Sum of sixteen Dollars due to him for enlisting the said William
Jenings passed by Lt Brice
That the said Treasurer Pay to Capt John Thomas One
thousand four hundred Dollars out of the money remitted by
Congress for the Purchase of Provisions,
John Plummer, Joseph Jacob, William Thornton, David
Jones of Ann Arundel County Matthew Pawson of Caroline
County and Edward Stephenson of Frederick County took the
Oath of Fidelity and Support to this State according to the
late Act & Cert, given.
Benjamin Griffith is appointed Agent for Purchasing Pro-
visions in Baltimore County in the room of John Sterrett who
declined by reason of his having lately removed into Ann
Arundel County
Ordered That Mr Keeport deliver to Richard Dallam Esqr one
hundred and twenty Muskets & Bayonets, 25 Cartridge Boxes
and five thousand Flints
Mr Williams from the House of Delegates deliver to the
Governor the following Resolve

By the House of Delegates April 9th 1778.

Resolved That the Governor and the Council be empowered
and requested during this Session of Assembly to appoint and
Commission Militia Officers for Cecil, Harford, and Caroline
Counties or any other County where it may be Judged neces-
sary By order G Duvall Cl H. D. Thus endorsed, By the
Senate April 9th 1778 Read and Assented to By order R
Ridgely Cl. Sen.
Certificate given to Col Birkhead that it appears necessary
that he shall draw on the Eastern shore Treasurer for four
Pounds, fourteen Shillings and six Pence as per Account of
William Maynadier and for Six Pounds five Shillings as per
Certificate of John Bracco, Register of the Orphans Court on
Account of William Brinsfield a wounded Soldier in the first
Class of the 4th Batt of Talbot County.
Commissions issued to Ignatius Wheeler appointed Col.
Alexander Rigdon, Lieut. Colo Robert Glen, Major William
Fisher, Capt. Samuel Webb, first Lieut William Smith, second
Lieut Sedwick James, Ensign Samuel Ashmead, Capt Grafton
Preston, first Lieut Edward Bussey, second Lieut Nathl West,
Ensign Thomas Hope, Capt. John Beall, first Lieut John Smith,
second Lieut Joseph Macamson, Ensign Gabriel Vanhorne,
Capt. John Long, Junr, first Lieut Robert Macamson, second
Lieut James Steel, Ensign George Voghan, Capt. John
