     posse of their tive Counties do immediately raise the Posse of Lib. H. D.

     Counties if Occasion their Counties and Vse their Authority to Suppress

     shall Require. them and acquaint the Militia Officers therewith,

     as also forthwith send an Express thereof unto his Exncy and Whitehall

     so Continue Sending one Express after another untill they

     are ascertain'd his has notice thereof.

    

     Ordr abt Mr Ordered that Mr Philip Clarke be henceforth dis

     Clark's dismissal from missed from acting as a Justice of the Provinciall Whitehall

     Acting in Court of this Province and from pleading in any

       any of his Mats Corts at at of his Mats Courts within the same, and he is hereby

     Law accordingly dismissed, Commanding the Sherriffe

     of St Maries County, to Serve him with this Ordr

    

     Quaere abt Quaere whether Mr Cood ought not to be Sus- p. 442

     Mr Cood &Ca        . .                .     Whitehall

            pended from Acting as a Vestryman in King and

     Queen Parish in St Maries County and that his Mats Councill

     at Law Return their Opinion therein accordingly.

    

     Ordr abt the Court of Vpon Representation and the Complaint of

     Chancery diverse persons Reed Ordered that the Court of

     Sitting every Chancery do for the future sit every two months, Whitehall

     two months that speedy Justice may be done and the Causes

    

    

     there brought not so Delay'd and prolong'd.

     Commission     .    .

     to be issued His Exncy in Council was pleased to Ordr as it is

     abt a Spll     hereby Ordered tht a Commission issue out of the

     CortSecry Office accordingly therein Constituting Capt.

    

    

     William Barton, Mr Hen: Hawkins Majr James Smalwood, Mr

     Philip Brisco, Mr Joseph Manning or any three of them; where

     of the sd Wm Barton or Henry Hawkins to be always one to

     hear & ffinally determine the matter in question by a Jury of

     Twelve good & Lawfull men of the Neighborhood, for tht pur

     pose to be summoned tryed and Sworne & tht the sd Comrs

     meet at the Court House in Charles County on the 20th day

     of Janry next for the Sd End & purpose & tht the Usu all Dedi

     mus to County Commissions be likewise thereto annext for

     the taking the Oaths appointed by Act of Parliamt to be taken

     instead of the Oaths of Allegiance & Supremacy as also the

     Oath of a Commissionr of tht Special Court & that they Sub

     scribe to the Test & tht a Clause therein be inserted for them

     to Adjourn from day to day & from time to time untill the sd

     matter by them be fully Ended & determined.
