   they have embodied their Company and marched therewith to the
   Camp at New York, but that no Commissions have as yet issued.

       A company in Montgomery County under Capt Richard Smith,
   1st Lt. Walter White 2nd Lt. Thomas Hayes, Ensign Thomas Sprigg,
   enrolled for the Flying Camp Sept. 19th, 1776. For the complete list
   of the names of the men in this Company see Md. Arch. XII, 352.

       A company from Harford County under Capt. Robert Harris, i st
   Lt. William Cole, 2nd Lt. Benjamin Scott, Ensign James Steele, enrolled
   for the Flying Camp, arrived at Philadelphia Nov. 2nd, 1776. Warrant
   issued by the Council of Safety Sept. 23rd, 1776, to Harris to raise this
   company. For the complete list of the names of the men in this Com
   pany see Md. Arch. XII, 435.


       Capt. Daniel Clapsaddle, 1st. Lt. Frederick Nicodemus, 2nd Lt.
   David Harvy, Ensign Matthias Hickman, were commissioned by the
   Council of Safety Sept. 26th, 1776, officers of a company enrolled for
   the Flying Camp in Washington County.


       CAPT. CLAPSADLE'S RETURN. GUNS, ETC., 1776.

       An Account What Was Taken By the Enemy at Fort Lee On the
   Armies Retreat from that Place, [Nov. 20th, 1776,] of the Continentle
   Property From Captn. Daniel Clapsadle's Company, viz. 14 Tents, 14
   Camp Cittles, 30 Canteens, 49 Habersacks, 6 Blankets, 1 Rifle, 2
   Muskes & 2 Bayonets, 8 Belts, 31 Tommehocks, 3 Bouches and 4
   Horns.                          Daniel Clapsadle, Capt.

       A List Guns, &c delivered to Mr. Robert Gowers, Dec. 6, 1776.
   Per his receipt at Philadelphia, 47 Guns, 31 Bayts, 34 Belts, 19 Toma
   hawks, 53 Blankets, 24 Haversacks, 62 Pouches, 34 Powder-Horns, 9
   Rifles, 1 Drum-Sticks & Sling. Daniel Clapsadle, Capt.


       A company in Cecil County, enrolled for the Flying Camp, under
   Capt. Samuel Evans, 1st. Lt. Henry Dobson, 2nd Lt. Thomas Ramsay,
