Sir
In a Letter which I had the honour to address to you the
13th of Sept. I informed you that upon the Receipt of Yours
dated the 21st of Augst I had issued Proclamations requiring
the General Assembly of this Province to meet here on the
22d of last Month & that then I would use my utmost Endeav-

to sollicit; I must now however inform You that after sitting
from the 26th of Septr to the 15th Inst. they then broke up
without granting any Supplies, nor will they I am satisfied
grant any more money for His Majesty's Service during the
Continuance of this War. I am extreemly sorry it is not in
my Power to send You a more agreeable Account of their
Proceedings, but I hope you will believe that nothing hath
been wanting on my Part, & that I am with great Regard &c.
